Our expertise: digital simulation
Saïna has extensive experience in numerical simulation and computation, gained through many years of work in the fields of aeronautics, rail transport, and research and development.
We are now able to offer you a comprehensive range of simulation services, covering mechanics, thermal analysis and fluid dynamics, as well as all possible interactions between these phenomena.

Numerical simulation applied to structural design, performance analysis and interface verification are all critical processes in engineering. They ensure that finished products are safe, reliable and capable of meeting design requirements. They can also be used to certify your product by demonstrating the safety margins required in your field.
Without these processes, products could be unstable, non-compliant with design specifications and dangerous to use. Analysis and verification are two distinct but widely used processes for assessing the quality and effectiveness of a system, product or process. These simulations also enable you to optimise your products in terms of cost, manufacturing processes and/or weight.

By taking into account physical phenomena (conduction, natural or forced convection, radiation), the materials used in your system and the various thermal loads, numerical simulation and thermal calculations enable you to analyse and optimise your designs. They allow you to verify the temperatures of your systems under steady-state conditions or during short-term operations.
Thus, taking the example shown opposite, a cold plate has been optimised to maintain a temperature during normal use and absorb a large amount of heat in exceptional situations.

Numerical airflow simulations and fluid dynamics calculations enable us to analyse fluid flow within your systems and thereby extract all data relating to their interactions with the surrounding environment.
Whether it is a heat transfer fluid circulating in a cooling circuit to estimate and optimise pressure drops, or air set in motion by a fan to determine the torque and recalculate the motor power, fluid simulation enables the study of all interactions between the fluid and the various components, pressure mapping for aerodynamic studies, convection coefficient mapping for thermal studies, or any other interactions.

Multiphysics simulations and couplings make it possible to take into account all the physical phenomena within a system, whether these occur internally—such as the combustion of two gases—or involve validating the mechanical integrity of a system subjected to the pressure or temperature of a flowing fluid.
This type of analysis makes it possible, for example, to optimise the structural integrity of an aircraft wing subjected to aerodynamic pressure or to validate the mechanical integrity of a combustion chamber subjected to combustion temperature and pressure.
